Welcome to the 2019 Teen Summer Reading Program! This year's theme is "A Universe of Stories." The teen program is intended for ages 12-18.

To log your reading, please submit a short book review for each book read during this program. Each review will add your name to a weekly prize drawing. For an extra challenge, you may submit a "READO" card by completing five challenges in a row for a chance to win an additional prize.

Check out the links on the side of the page or our brochure for a full list of exciting space-themed events that we have planned for this year. Remember, you must register separately for the special events this summer. You may register by clicking on the event links on this page or you may also register in person at the library.

Thank you for participating in the 2019 Teen Summer Reading Program! If you have any questions, please call 423-434-4349.

127 hours is a true story about a man that went hiking and got his arm stuck in between a boulder and rock wall. He had to amputate his arm using a cheap pocketknife. I recommend reading this book if u like adventure and suspense.

The unpassing is about life in America being immigrants. The family has many struggles and has to get through all of them. I didn’t really like enjoy this book as much as other books I’ve read because it was very slow going and not much action.
