I read this for the Johnson City Senior Center book club, but I didn't enjoy it much. I didn't like the whole thing being told by the 5 year old. I think it would have been better to have told the story from different perspectives.

My favorite read of the summer detailed the Washington Nationals trip through a season otherwise known as "The Grind". A stitched together series of vignettes that follow the teams wives, coaches, scouts and players through all 162 grueling games, it weaves a tale of the mental, emotional and physical stress caused by the exhaustive schedule. A must read for any baseball fan!

I am totally hooked on these delightful books! This story follows the continuing saga of the very unfortunate events that surround the orphans as they are forced to live and work in a lumber mill under the care of a tyrannical guardian, known only as Sir.
